Motocrossed part 6

Sort of on-topic, but if you havent seen the outtakes yet of Siskel and Ebert from their early days, watch them. Theyre hilarious, in that are they kidding or not? kind of way. Strollin through the park with a sarsaparilla, for me and my niiiiiiiine! Location: Springfield, VA Predator: Gene, to Roger Your standards are dropping. Uh, actually Id have to go with Roger on this one, Gene. Predator may not have been a wholly original concept, but it was executed well. most things are derivative, but i think predator gave it a nice spin all its own. I like the idea of a being thats hunting down and killing a highly skilled military unit all by itself and the lone hero takes it down by using his intelligence and not just fire power or brute force. Predator has a slick gloss, but its essentially a B-movie at heart, and I think that for what it is, its a lot of fun. Not it will most likely do any good, but I encourage any interested parties to sign this petition. In the end, no one is benefited by mediocrity. Harold Bloom Seeing the Critics tribute to them, plus their review of the movie North, I have been watching reviews so far for the movies Ive seen or heard of. That said, I have some questions: Predator: Gene, to Roger Your standards are lowering. Uh, actually Id have to go with Roger on this one, Gene. Predator may not have been a wholly original concept, but it was executed well. Babys Day Out: Gene and Roger arguing whether kids will be scared for the baby constantly in peril in the movie. I believe this is also the review when Roger says Gene ought to be ashamed of himself for recommending it, and Gene interrupts and says, Ashamed of what? Not agreeing with you? Im always proud of that! Dont Be a Menace to South : Gene thinks that Roger is saying that certain subjects are off-limits to parody, and tries to call him on it. Could you point out any other reviews that have them in disagreement? I understand that their disagree can really be entertaining. Sort of on-topic, but if you havent seen the outtakes yet of Siskel and Ebert from their early days, watch them. Theyre hilarious, in that are they kidding or not? kind of way. About that. Are outtakes and talkshow appearances made by them available in any legal capacity? If so, where? If not, then dismiss my question. Deadpool on the genius of Hollywood: Everythings turned into a movie these days. Old TV shows, board games, candy bars. And let me tell ya, Im totally stoked for Butterfinger The Movie. Location: Philadelphia, PA Ebert linked to one of those outtake videos on YouTube, and talked openly about it so thats generally a tacit endorcement. Matthew Williams, from the Cartoon Universe A column where animation is the starting point every week at the toonzone blog. Hmm, there were so many that they sort of run together for me, but I remember they differed on the first Mortal Kombat. Ironically, for a movie like this, youd think Siskel would hate it, but he was the one giving thumbs up. Another good one to watch is the Broken Arrow review, where Siskel actually CHANGES his vote to thumbs down after being swayed by Eberts arguments. Then he tells Ebert to look into the camera and say Cop and a Half was a bad film and he refuses. My memory may be failing me, but I seem to remember a disagreement over Crash the earlier film, not the 2005 one, of course. EDIT: Oh, and watch the 3 Ninjas Kick Back review. Even when both agree the film is bad, they STILL bicker! Some of Siskels comments are just mean.
