Beyond the limits

It does seem like a strange coincidence that it started happening right after I changed over to the Blu Ray/HDMI setup. Thanks for any and all suggestions! Location: Northern California, USA Probably not an HDMI problem. Faulty HDMI cables show pixelation or fail to lock at all. Is your cable TV coming from an RF coax or other? Is there a cable box? Pink and green issues are often related to tuner issues or NTSC decoding errors. This shouldnt be happening on the HDMI input. Recommends: Loans that change lives. I know this is slightly off topic but you do know they have component cables for the Nintendo Wii? I have one and I have a westinghouse hdtv that has two component input connections. The component cable adapter for the Wii will cost a little bit but you will get a better picture than the regular rca cables that come with the system. Just fyi. Donatello The Shredder? Michelangelo Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? Yeah its an RF coax, provided by the cable company. No cable box. It has mostly happened while watching cable TV, but as I said occasionally while watching DVDs on the Blu Ray player. Never, so far, while watching a Blu Ray disc. If its a tuner or NTSC decoding error dont know what that means, BTW have any suggestions for something I could do to fix it? If it just happened on the RF input I would suspect the TV tuner or NTSC decoder. If you are certain it is happenting over HDMI also, that points to a more serious TV failure. Usually problems like this get worse over time. One thing I would try is remove all inputs except HDMI and continuously play a disc. If the problem is seen without any RF cable or composite Wii connections, then Id take it to a service shop. If the problem isnt seen with just an HDMI digital connection, you may be able to use the TV with an HD cable box HDMI out until you can afford a replacement TV. Recommends: Loans that change lives. Location: Northern California, USA You could also try just the cable RF connection again without the Wii or Blu-Ray player connected. If you see no problems, then the malfunction is due to interference between mixed RF, analog and digital inputs. This is still a TV problem but you may be able to live with connecting only one input at a time. Recommends: Loans that change lives. Note This is a double-feature release and includes Open Water 2: Adrift on the same disc. Daniel and Susan, both certified scuba divers, board a local dive boat full of other vacationers for an underwater tour of the reef. Due to a series of miscommunications and a distracted crew, the couple is accidentally left behind. Isolation sets in and they beyond the limits to each other for support, but quickly fall apart as they realize the situation they are in is hopeless. Soon they question their own fate as they fight to stay alive in the chilling open waters of the shark-infested ocean. Open Water s main appeal lies in it s rugged realism and real life fear of sharks that has been instilled in society since the day Steven Spielberg s classic Jaws came out in 1 Since then millions have been afraid to go in the water, yours truly included. Since that time there have been few movies with sharks that have been anywhere close to good. Open Water is one of those few that made it.
