That Tools window that you see in the preview gif is from some application he had installed. Check: press Menu Settings Applications Development, enable USB debugging. If already enabled, disable and enable again. A confirmation window will appear, and it should have blue background. If so, youre fine and you may cancel the USB debugging if you dont need it, this was just to quickly prompt a message window. If youre talking about the Grass Live Wallapaper and you dont have it, it was lost when you installed void its not included by default. It can be brought back, search the void thread on how to install Live Wallpapers back on your phone. The Market received an update in the mean time.
